| Natural ventilation was an effective method of reducing the heat, removing the humidity, improving indoor environment. It had received increasing attention in the world at present. However,it was many factors to influence the design of natural ventilation. And the design was used in the beginning of the architectural design process. So it was difficult to use the design of natural ventilation effectively. There were many factors which influenced effective of natural ventilation, such as:the external climate of building, building orientation, shape coefficient, storey height of building, building height, the position of building opening, the classic dwelling size, and so on.All of them were analysised in this paper. On this basis,a natural ventilation design was made for architects. It was integrated design method.Firstly, the concept of integrated design was elaborated in this paper. The methods of integrated design included both the spiral integrated design method and the platform integrated design method. The former one only applied to landmark building in the city. And the trial one was suitable for ordinary residential building. So the platform integrated design method was applied to residential building's natural ventilation design.Secondly, many kind of methods were used to research the factors of natural ventilation in this paper, such as test, simulation, research report. The design proposals were given on the basis of the knowledge that related to these factors in architecture, civil engineering and other disciplines. Finally,On the basis of summarizing the design proposals, and considering the characteristics of the architectural design, the integrated design flow chart was made. It was used for the residential building's natural ventilation design. This paper analysis and research the residential building's natural ventilation design. The method of natural ventilation which was suitable for architects in the beginning of architectural design was obtained. The method and recommendations was proposed for the engineering application. It laid the foundation for further study in the natural ventilation design. |
