Research On Rail Defect Management Of Railway

Rail is an important component of railway track facilities, which sustains the dynamic load of train movement directly. The daily management of rail defect is the main means to assure the operation of the rail track in safety, stability and incessancy. After the analysis of the rail defeat management status home and abroad, this paper has made a study of rail defect condition-maintenance close-loop management on the base of standardizing and integrating of the rail defect data.The key point of Rail defect condition-maintenance close-loop management is gasping the state of rail. Attempting to analyze and forecast the trend of the state, it focuses on the data which relates to rail defect. According to the request of supporting the research on rail defect condition-maintenance close-loop management, this paper has analyzed the classification and origin of rail defect data which has been standardized and integrated as well.To ensure the realization of rail defect condition-maintenance close-loop management basing on the standardization and integration of the rail defect data, using the data fully and reasonably is required. This paper has analyzed the use of rail defect data deeply and realized the microcosmic and macroscopical management of rail defect data for the different management levels. By the analysis of the investigation on rail lifecycle , this paper has made a study on rail defect condition-maintenance close-loop management, and has research the modeling issues of rail defect fatigue cycle prediction.This paper has applied to the research achievement on Railway Rail Defects Management Information System of Kunming Railways Bureau, which is the sub module of Railway Engineering and maintenance Information Management System of Kunming Railways Bureau. This system has been running well, and this paper has introduced the implementation of it.
