This project originates from national science supporting projects which called Precise Transmission Study about planetary cycloid enveloping,whose project number is 2006BAF01B01-03,and Chongqing Science and Technology key project ,whose number is CSTC,2006AA3010-6. Precise transmission is a form of mechanical transmission with a primary view of high-precision transmission of movement. It is widely used in fields about aviation, weapon equipments, CNC machine tools, robotics, precision machinery, printing and packaging machinery, transportation machinery, medical equipment, and so on. This project is also an extremely important basic matter of manufacturing equipment industry and national defense industry.Cycloid planetary transmission has prominent characteristics of great number of teeth inmate; significant effect of average error; high-precision of transmission; no flexible component and high torsional stiffness: So that it has been paid much attention in the filed of precise transmission. Basing on the general principles of conjugated meshing gear and fundamental researches combining with advanced CNC machining technology; this article will solve the complex discrete data problem about conjugate tooth profiles. This study will not only break through the key technology of this kind of transmission about cycloid with more teeth and precision CNC machining about enveloping gear tooth profile, but also layan important foundation for promoting the use of Precise Transmission Study about planetary cycloid enveloping. The main contents are as follows.(1)Introduce the basis of kinematics of secondary enveloping cycloid planet transmission,as well as analyze meshing characteristics of secondary enveloping cycloid planet transmission.(2)According to the analyzes about present situation of cycloid meshing vice-processing and combining with the currently advanced key technology about CNC Machining, we get the NC code which match the CNC machine tool by carrying on mathematical interpolation operator on cycloid and quadratic curve equation in enveloping gear tooth profile using consecutive double-arc stretching step interpolation.(3)In the Windows Operating system using VC++6.0 as development tools and combining with the OpenGL basal graphic library, we will simulate the track of processing tool to verify the NC program's correctness of NC program by the NC-processing code we have got. (4)Based on the analysis above by setting the parameter of the entire processing technology, we realize the parameterized CNC automatic programming system design of cycloidal-pin wheel and secondary enveloping gear.(5)According to outcomes of theoretical research, we have done the machining test to cycloidal wheel by MK2945C continuous track coordinate grinding machines and have finished the measurement of cycloidal wheel using ZC1066H three dimensional measuring machine. Simultaneously, the data obtained after measure have been analyzed by using line profile assessment and discrimination method. From the result of analyzing, the circular pitch error and tooth error of the measured parts have being attained. Thereupon, correctness and feasibility of the CNC machining automatic Programming System have been tested and verified.
