With the development of the computer and network communications technology,computerized relay protection and automation system had applied in power system, which made the management of substation realized non-attended. Full automation and non-attended substation have become an inevitable trend of the dispatching automation of electrical network and autoimmunization of power system now.Firstly, the basic theory of computerized five-prevention operation system is presented. The current situation of system and the trend of its development are also introduced. Then,based on the embedded discussion, this paper designs a new kind of five-prevention operation system. Composition, work principle, functions and features of this system are also decrypted. The system could be used and maintained simply. Its application heighten the automation level of the non-attended substation,which also improve the security of equipment and power supply. Finally, this paper presented ten kinds of configuration of computerized five-prevention operation system. The merit and demerit of each configuration are also analyzed.
