Large-scale coal-fired power plant boiler combustion efficiency and low-pollution gas emissions for energy conservation and environmental protection are of great significance.The artificial neural network model predicting the NOx emission and combustion efficiency was developed and verified.Low NOx emissions and High-efficiency combustion were achieved by combing genetic algorithms and the artificial neural network model to optimize operating parameters.The modeling results show that the combination of the artificial neural network and genetic algorithms has good ability to optimize combustion,it has good generalization ability and higher calculation speed comparing with other approaches.Base on the work above,a Guiding system for optimizing boiler combustion is developed with Matlab,which is convenient for operators or technician to model and optimize utility boiler combustion.The software provides the analysis of modeling and optimization of the results.
