The research and development of GB18240.7 sample machine systems project mainly aim to reform the tax collection pattern in large and medium-sized marketplace. The project adopts the control of tax invoices to improve the existing tax schemes to reduce the loss of tax revenue. Tax IC Card plays an important role in this project. Tax IC card is divided into tax card, the user card and tax management card. Fiscal Cash Register generated tax information through the tax card, and tax data were stored in a reliable tax card and Fiscal memory disk. The tax data will be delivered to the Fiscal Cash Register Management System by User card or other media safely.However, in the current tax management system, tax IC card is a smart IC card with some tax commands. Its low data transfer rate and small storage capacity has become the bottlenecks of tax information exchange of management system. In view of the IC card tax deficiencies above, this paper presents a FPGA-based high-speed large-capacity smart tax disk solutions.Base on the Altera's FPGA technology, this paper researches and designs of the architecture of the tax smart disk system. Tax smart disk hardware system is mainly composed of NIOS II CPU, SRAM memory, USB interface, flash memory and encryption algorithm co-processor and some other parts. In the hardware system, the USB interface ensures data transmission efficiency, the flash memory provides a large capacity of storage capacity, the encryption algorithm co-processor is responsible for data encryption and decryption. Tax smart disk software system is mainly composed of commands transfer management subsystem, file management subsystem, application management subsystem and security control subsystem. Application management subsystem controls the other three sub-systems to complete a variety of tax applications, and provide a variety of tax functions.Versus the original IC card and card reader solution, the Smart Tax disk solution does not only greatly improve the data transmissions speed and data storage capacity, but also reduce the production costs, and support the optimization of the tax system. The research on the subject is a improvement and reparation of the research and development of GB18240.7 sample machine systems project, and it has some importance meaning to the state tax information construction.
