Economic analysis on two kinds of peak shaving of combined cycle plants has been done.For part load operation mode,calculation software is exploited to calculate economic indicators in different load such as efficiency,fuel flux and specific heat consumption,and curves are achieved.The part load performance of combined cycle power plants is analyzed,the method of part load operation is proposed which can notably improve the performance of the combined cycle units.Furthermore,relational expression of specific heat consumption is achieved by use of the least-squares analysis. The factors that influence the economical efficiency of two-shift peak shaving of combined cycle power plants are analyzed,and an economic model of peak shaving is established.Furthermore,the application of this model to the optimization of combined cycle plants start-up is discussed.Peak shaving of combined cycle plants is more flexible and more convenient,has economical feasibility.But the profitability is deeply affected by the price of fuel. Furthermore,countermeasure of developing combined cycle plants are proposed by comprehensive consideration of any possible influencing factors.
