At present,it is very important to realize the efficient economic operation of thermal power unit,which could reduce energy consumption and improve energy efficiency in China. The thesis introduces the structure and construction of power plant economic supervisor system.The PPESS is mainly used to calculate and show the main economy index of boiler, steam turbine and auxiliary equipment in real time.Then,in accordance with the current operating parameters,the PPESS can analyze the operation situation of the unit and put forward the possible reasons of operating parameters' deviation and Operating decision-makings.On the basic of a 320MW power plant unit,the PPESS has a good human-machine interface,good expansion and some "health" diagnosis ability,it can provide the analysis and guidance advice of experts in this field,which is provided to the operation staffs.
