The placement of sensors and the selection of index system can greatly affect the identifying results in the health monitoring and diagnosis of complex structures such as suspension bridges .In the resent years the scholars have done a great deal of reserch and got a series of achievement in the two fields, but because of the complication of health diagnosis and damage detection ,the acheivement is just primary and there are also many theoretical and practical problems to be studied.Suspension bridge is a wide range of materials, the composition of the different components of the complex system, different parts of the injury on the impact of the various indicators are different, difficult to identify a single indicator of the suspension of all parts of the damage, this paper established through the ANSYS to finite element model for calculating the impact of load. The calculation of the impact of spatial structure model is based on the analysis methods, to a good bridge to reflect the actual state of stress. Through the impact analysis to determine the health status of the bridge structure is an effective way. Analysis of the impact of a certain specificity and complexity, which also has important research value and practical significanceIn this paper, the theory on the basis of the structure of the impact of suspension of calculation and damage identification analysis, the main contents are as follows:(1) Based on the finite element theory and the characteristics of suspension bridges, a suspension bridge model is set up in ANSYS. Through the static unit force calculation method of imposed mobile unit force, the paper analyzes the static response such as the internal forces and displacement of the key section of the suspension bridge.(2) Basis on the finite element analysis, according to static response such as the internal forces and displacement of the key section which are extracted, the paper draws the internal forces and displacement of influence surface in MATLAB, and the graphics are compared and analyzed during the damage.(3) Different parts of the structure of the injury simulation, focusing on analysis of the bridge deck and damaged sling damage. By choosing different observation points, integrated observations, indicating that these two have a good positioning injury results. The method of positioning the structure of the model suspension bridge for the practical engineering feasibility of damage detection provides a great help.
