As the concrete and thin-walled girder structures are popularizing and applying in bridge construction continually, there arise more diseases during the process of constructing and using. They show the regularity. It is worth researching the causing reason and the skill to reinforce. In this paper, it first introduces the feature of structure stress of girder-bridge and the brief introduction of strengthening bridge effect and girder aberrance. Then it analyses the general reason leading to the disease on the aspect of stress fact and concrete disease forms, which could guide the reinforcing skill. Through the investigation, this paper gives precise introductions of several common reinforcing ways on thin-walled girder structure and discuses the right occasion and reinforcing effect assessment. Combining with the weakness situation of some bridge, the paper analyses several reinforcing ways and makes an assessment to the external pre-stressing reinforcement effect through building space finite element model. In this paper it has an intensive study to the disease reason of soleplate lengthwise crack on thin-walled girder. It also puts forward a reinforcing skill that is cutting a hole first and then adding transverse ribs to reinforce. Through building space finite element model, it focuses on analyze the harmful stress effect to girder structure and effect assessment that reinforces the soleplate lengthwise crack through the skill of adding transverse ribs. It also analyses the girder structure influence. At the same time, it raises a theoretical guidance for the feasibility of cutting a hole on the soleplate.
