Dynamic compaction has a broad applicability and economy in improving foundation.Dynamic compaction could be used to improve the crushed gravel,sand, low-saturation of the silt and clay,collapsible loess,miscellaneous Su-fill a wide range of soil and so on.Compared to a wide range of engineering applications,especially with the increasing of the applications of high- energy dynamic compaction in recent years, the research lagged in high- energy dynamic compaction,and the identify of parameters of dynamic compaction in an region-specific are also inadequate.In this paper,make use of ABAQUS finite element software to establish a high-energy dynamic compaction model used to analyze the issue of impact and collision. The model is explicit dynamic analysis model and introducing of the definition of penetration cell in the definition of the contact surfaces,which is used to simulate distribution of stress and displacement in case of large deformation。By analysising soil dynamic deformation characteristics and the stress changes in the role of the 3000kN·m,8000kN·m,12000kN·m to interpret the mechanism high-energy dynamic compaction;and through comparative analysis of the engineering application of all kinds of energy in deep collapsible loess areas further revealed the characteristics of the reinforcement high- energy dynamic in the collapsible loess areas.
