Multi-fuction Crane with guide wheel is one of the important equipments used in electrolytic Aluminium workshop.This kind of crane with guide wheel is a special crane,it is usually exposed on bad working conditions.And the crane structure is special,its wheel-pressure load are different from generally crane,wheel gauge are not equal.So,the mechanical behavior and design of steel crane girder used for multi-function crane with guide wheel has its own characteristic.With the purpose on safety,economical,reasonable of designing of the steel crane girder used for multi-function crane with guide wheel,it is necessary to analysis the mechanical behavior of steel crane girder system used for multi-function with guide wheel and it has certain use value and the economic efficiency.The steel crane girder system used for multi-function with guide wheel is a spatial structure,withstanding mainly the crane moving loading.It is hard to do spatial overall analysis.Therefore,in the design a simplified model of the planar Structure for analysis is adopted at present.Based on the FEM program ANSYS11.0,the planar and spatial model of steel crane girder system used for multi-function crane with guide wheel are established.Different loading conditions,different brake structure forms are considered.The strength,stiffness and stability capacity of the crane girder system under crane loading are analyzed.Compared with stress,displacement and stability under different loading conditions,the worst loading condition is obtained.Compared with the analysis results of the planar and spatial model,the greatest stress and displacement of the planar model is more than the spatial model,but the difference is insignificant.Considering the structure safety and the design convenient,it is recommended that using the planar model for designing.It is necessary to establish the brake structure for the steel crane girder system used for multi-function with guide wheel.Compared with different brake structure forms,it is advised to use the brake structural forms composed of Channel steel marginal beam and diagonal support member.It should be pay more attention to the local buckling problem of the brake member of the steel crane girder system in the design.In addition,considering the geometric non-linear and material non-linear,taking into account of the initial geometric defect and residual stress,the ultimate bearing strength is obtained.Compared with elastic analysis results,for the crane girder with no braking structure,the non-linear ultimate bearing capacity of less than the linear elastic stability capacity;for the crane girder with braking structure,the non-linear ultimate bearing capacity of more than the linear elastic stability capacity,after the local buckling of the plate members,the bearing capacity of the crane girder system still had certain extent enhancement.The initial geometric defects and residual stress has less influence on the ultimate bearing capacity of the crane girder system...
