Joint connection of steel structure is one of the most important matters in steel design and research,the reliability and validity of connection have important effect on whole performance of steel structure.Rational connection pattern can improve whole performance of the structure greatly and obtain economy and reliability.This paper researched the common forms of the bolt connectionsIn eccentrically loaded joint,the connection is subjected to applied loads that result in a line of action passing outside the center of the fastener group.Some common examples are bracket-type connections,web splices in beams and girders,and the standard beam connections.Because of the eccentricity of the applied load,the faster group is subjected to a shear force and a twisting moment,and both of these effects have to be considered in determining the capacity of the connection.This paper provides the analysis of eccentrically loaded bolted connections and the ultimate bearing in detail.The main scopes of this paper include:1.Derived of rational formula by statics equilibrium equations based on ultimate strength method,and find out the instantaneous center of the bolts based on ultimate strength method;2.Comparing with the result of ANSYS,It is proved the formula is reasonable and exact; 3.As our country is also using the traditional elastic method,it is much conservative,this paper proposed the amending opinion,and list some tables for common bolts' arrangement forms,it is very convenient for our engineers.
