High strength and high performance concrete possesses high strength,high performance,and high durability.High strength and high performance concrete combined with steel can bind the advantages of steel structure and high-strength and high-performance concrete structure all in one,and the characteristics of two materials can be played effectively,and their shortcomings can be avoided.With the development of high-rise building,long span and heavy load structure,the high bearing capacity and better ductility of frame columns are required to meet the seismic requirements.In normal cases,steel reinforced concrete structure is able to resolve this problem,but sometimes it is necessary to use SRHSHPC to meet bearing capacity and ductility requirements.Ductility is a important factor to affect the seismic performance of structures and components.SRHSHPC composite structure can not only effectively increase the bearing capacity of the components,but also can significantly enhance the ductility of the structure,thereby enhancing the seismic performance of structures.Based on the experiment of 13 SRHSHPC frame columns subjected to low cyclic reversed lateral loads,the failure patterns,skeleton curve,hysteretic curve and energy dissipation capacity of the specimens subjected to combining flexure,compression and shear force are obtained,and the influence of shear span ratio,axial compression ratio and concrete strength on them are analyzed.The research results show that the combination of steel and high strength high performance concrete can improves the high brittleness of high strength and high performance concrete to some extent,and SRHSHPC frame columns possessed good ductility.The main factors to impact the ductility of SRHSHPC frame columns is theoretically analyzed,and is compared with their experimental results.Furthermore, based on the experimental data the formula of ductility coefficient was given to provide a reference for ductile seismic design of SRHSHPC structures.
