Foundation for the loess areas of the current construction, rainfall infiltration is usually one of the main occasions of non-saturated soil slope instability. Consequently, rainfall is the biggest obstacle in slope construction. Based on the strength of unsaturated soils with percolation theory. Seepage in unsaturated soils based on the Darcy's law, we can deduce the unsaturated soil water movement equation, proposed under the condition of rainfall infiltration in unsaturated soil pit slope stability analysis method. Using ABAQUS finite element analysis software to simulate of a non-saturated soil slope excavation. The excavation carried out an analysis of two cases, One is the natural state of the excavation, another for the slope of soil nailing to simulate excavation. Then two cases of the stress and deformation data will be get. In this paper, the work done and conclusions are as follows:1. According to using of geo-slope slope stability analysis software, calculated examples of the unsaturated soil slope stability safety factor with the different changes in the depth of excavation. and then the results of the analysis of ABAQUS and geo-slope calculation results were compared. Summed up under the rain conditions of excavation of unsaturated soil slope instability is due to damage to the shallow soil, for the natural state, the excavation took place easily slip surface along the decline in the overall instability, after adding soil nailing for slope prone to partial destruction of shallow instability.2. According of the Swedish law and Bishop law of the slope stability analysis method, put forward to joining after the soil nailing for slope stability factor of the correction formula.3. In considering the soil nailing circumstances, derived in line with the cusp catastrophe model of instability of the balance equation and the surface divergence equation. Be a sudden slope instability and slope slip surface and angle tangent to the level of an important link.
