Study On The Leisure Club Interior Space Design

With the coming leisure era,the development of leisure consumption makes the social form and the consuming conception changed."Clubs",the exotic products,which entered into our Chinese mainland at the end of the 80's to early 90's,have been evolving and developing under the conflict and fusion of Chinese and Western culture. The leisure club has become a new type of social occasions。In this paper,the origins and the historical background of the leisure clubs have to be sorted out to realize how the leisure clubs exist and grow,and then we can find what the problems are in the process of clubs interior design.Combined with marketing theory,the paper focus on analyzing the positioning,function settings,space design and other special elements of leisure club through some successful design cases.At the end, the solutions are raised for the problems.Firstly,based on the conclusion and summary of relevant theoretical research at home and abroad,this paper made a clear definition on the content and scope,and discussed the research method.Secondly,followed by the clues of origins and changes of clubs,the meaning of leisure club is defined and the kinds are classified.The paper analyzed the significant role that the leisure club played and discussed the problems exist in the club interior space design.Thirdly,from the perspective of space design,comparing and analyzing the successful projects,the paper analyzed systematically on functions,space of leisure clubs,as well as other design elements,and educed the culture value the design should express.Finally,the paper made a summary of the entire analysis,and put forward the conclusions in the course of the study process.
