Landscape Research And Design Theory Of Expressway Service Area Under Northwestern China Culture

In this paper,landscape research and design theory of expressway service area(ESA) under northwestern China culture was the research aim.To research the achievements of ESA Landscape research at home and abroad,to investigate the present condition of ESA in Northwest China,and to combine with regional culture of the northwest,were undertaken to provide to a theoretical basis and guidance for plan and construction of ESA in northwestern China.With the rapid economic development,the infrastructure,especially the construction of expressway had a speedy development and the expressway mileage had reached the level of the world's second.But the construction of the ESA failed to keep up a same pace.The construction of expressway in northwestern China was closed to it in developed regions under the support of Development of the West Regions and recent national policy of infrastructure investment.Same as other regions in China,however, the ESA plans and constructions encountered many problems.For example,inadequate investment strategy,poor planning and design,lack of the geographical and the culture characteristics,inappropriate ecological construction,ect.The construction of ESA focused on,how to build a high quality ESA,and how to show the special northwestern culture on basis of supply comfortable and convenient services.First of all,this paper required initial knowledge through analyze the relational research of ESA at home and abroad.The second one,it investigated present condition of ESA in northwestern China,analyzed the problems in ESA plan and construction, and researched the influences of northwestern culture to ESA design,included,natural environmental influence,cultural environment influence,protection of local culture, and construction of new culture characteristics.Following,the author presented the landscape research and design theory of expressway service area under northwestern China culture.This theory had four appoints as followings.The first,the research built the principle of ESA plan.The second,it demonstrated the gist of any landscape elements in ESA by research the relational materials at home and abroad,and analyze the real ESAs in northwestern China.It emphasized importantly how to embody the local culture.Moreover,three ESAs had be analyzed and investigated.In the last chapter,the landscapes of the three ESAs had been pointed out the advantage and disadvantage via the ESA landscape plan theory that is before this chapter.In conclusion,the landscape research and design theory of expressway service area under northwestern China culture was summarized.The author tried to propose a integrated theory about construction of ESA in northwestern China on the level of design rule and regional landscape feature.
