With the accelerated process of social modernization,China's highway construction has entered a new stage of development.People are enjoying the convenience of traffic modernization,and put forward higher requirements for the construction of road traffic.While The motorway service area as the sole provider of human services on the freeway space place,which has obtained more and more attention from people.How to highlight the regional features,how to make differentiation of experience,has become the focus of the new era of motorway service area planning and design.The expressway construction of Hubei experiencing nearly 20 years of development,has formed a large scale.However,many service areas are still using conventional construction methods that only focus on the single expression of service function.This phenomenon has directly impact the development of highway service area of Hubei province,while also reduce the operational efficiency,resulting in the image of Hubei service area assimilation phenomenon.This mechanical design pattern not only disregarded the diverse demand of passenger,but also lost the area cultural attraction and cultural propaganda value makes people in the service area can hardly realize the humanity care of modern society,not to mention to appreciate the local natural and cultural features.The basic reason lies in the design of the service area of Hubei province has neglected the regional culture and losted the spirit of cultural innovation.They did not implement respect for history,and thus lost the distinctive regional image.This paper tries from the hands of “Jing chu” culture,through the analysis of the artistic expression of “Jing chu” culture to know its aesthetic characteristics and creation logic,understanding of the distinct characteristics of “Jing chu” culture,in order to establish the direction of image innovation for the service area of Hubei Province.And learn from design way of regional characteristics public buildings and environment of Hubei district,aware of its design idea and value orientation,thus find docking point of service areas of Hubei image design with Chu culture and summarizes the principle and idea of image creative design of service area,while take the theoretical result into practice of service image innovation,based on the relationship of “Jing chu” culture and Hubei service area,while combined with the characteristics of the service area image,through the artistic methods of repeated,overlapping,mutation to change the image of “jing chu”culture symbols so that it meets the needs of the service area of aesthetic recognition,thus completing the innovative design of service image elements and use these symbols elements to establish regional image of service area,thus produce distinct regional image,redolent of “Jing chu” culture charm and highlights the flavor of the times,to meet people cognitive change about service attributes.And thereby to inherit and carry forward the “Jing Chu” culture,while enhance culture self-confidence and regional identification of service area of Hubei province.I hope my research can provide a new idea and valuable reference to the construction of Hubei highway service area in future.
