In order to meet the demand of modern advanced manufacturing and processing technology, and to increase productivity and improve the quality of the processing parts, the super high- precision machining technology has become a major development trend in top grade NC machine tools. But it is difficulty for conventional feed systems to achieve the high-precision position servo control, as it is cannot but have transmission Mechanism. To be a kind of "zero transmission", linear motor direct drive feed system cancel all intermediate transport segments, can greatly improve the working accuracy and servo performance of the machine tool, making it a favorite option in the field of high speed and high precision processing equipment. But at the same time it adds the difficulties in the aspect of the electrical control, because linear servo system run-time needs of direct drive method.In this paper, the research object is the position servo controller of a voice coil linear motor direct drive feed servo system. Firstly, it describes voice coil linear motor, basic structure and setting up math-model. According to the performance requirement of the ultra-precision machine feed drive servo system and the characteristic of "direct drive", the control structure is designed. At the same time considered the pros and cons of various control strategies, determine position servo control of the three-loops control strategy and a clear regulation of the effects.On the basis of these studies, the position controller is designed, in order to improve such a direct drive for micro feed, low damping and a high-precision requirements of the rapid movement system. If position loop employs only proportion control, the position servo controller cannot have both high speed and high precision, so MAC is provided for its good tracking, anti-jamming and robustness. Theoretical analysis and simulation results show that the designed system is propitious to the position servo control system.Finally, based on the linear motor control system platform which was said former, experimentation validates the position servo system controller designed in this thesis. The result validates that this position control system using as the precision machine feed drive servo servo system is feasible.
