Quadrupole mass spectrometer was widely applied in the Tokamak device. It was used to determine the quality of vacuum and to measure the partial pressures when the plasma facing material (PFM) was being processed, such as glow-discharge cleaning, boronizing, gas-resorting, baking and the plasma was discharging. It was also used to analyze the result of the processed PFM and the out-gassing in the plasma discharging. It is a basic measure tool to develop the vacuum system and the plasma interaction with the PFM in the HT-7 and EAST devices. This paper based on the functions of SRS-200 mass spectrometer which could not meet all of experimental requirements in the HT-7 and EAST devices. The software was re-designed for the new functions by LabVIEW software development platform. The new software was able to measure the total pressure with the PKR251 vacuum gauge, scanning 200 channels fast for mass numbers at the real-time, saving the data and scanning channels configuration automatic, the shot numbers of plasma discharging in connect the data of the mass spectrogram with the time, providing on-line monitoring and querying database by internet, dealing with all of the plasma discharging data by batch processing. In the past two rounds of EAST experiment, the new software was used to research the quality of plasma discharging after the different methods of the PFM processed. It shows the new software can not only meet the experiment requirements, but also has some advantages in the experiment, such as easy of use, fast, stable, intelligent and so on. It can be widely used to measure and control the residual gas in the variety vacuum environment.
