As the rapid development of the automobile industry, increasing requirements for automobile comfortable are needed. So now the requirement for NVH performance is increasing in new automobile development. NVH refers to Noise, Vibration and Harshness; to say simply, all of the feelings and hearings in car belong to NVH analysis category. The car NVH performance research basis on the whole vehicle system, which are very complicated. So we usually studied by dividing the whole vehicle system into some subsystems.Interior key parts, like car steering system and dashboard, vibration performance have a high contribution to the whole vehicle NVH performance. If we want to enhance the whole vehicle NVH performance, interior key parts vibration performance should be improved. So the interior key parts vibration level must be controlled in preferred range as developing a new vehicle. This paper is based on practical project, and the dashboard vibration performance analysis was worked out through some different ways. First, our team analyzed the causes of the dashboard vibration in detail, which as result gave the direction of following jobs. Then, dashboard vibration performance was analyzed and calculated according to the detailed car material data. Because the dashboard vibration performance is decided by both external and internal factors, so this paper displays through such two aspects and then the dashboard vibration sensitivity to vehicle parameters is analyzed. The content of the paper are as follows.(1) Dashboard, IP model and intensity are analyzed by finite element method. The modal parameters and the intensity of IP joint supports are calculated.(2) The multi-dynamic rigid-flexible coupling vehicle model is set up and the IP vibration performance is assessed under various working conditions(3) The dashboard vibration sensitivity to vehicle parameters is analyzed, which can provide the theory reference for future improvements.
