| The submersible pump is a kind of universally applied machinery.It has large amount and is wide in variety,which bring it broad application prospects.But now the efficiency of pump in the market is not high enough,so it still has a lot of space of ascension.The research of mutual matching of impeller and fluid director has certain application value in design and production,which can not only improve design parameters by the results of simulation,but also can produce different submersible pumps with different function through the combination between same fluid director and different impeller.It can meet the market demand,and have greater economic and scientific significance.This topic used CFD simulation technology for numerical simulation of the full port and performance prediction.The main contents are as follows:First,the equations of impeller and fluid director have been deduced in theory,the impact of geometric parameters of the fluid director on the performance of the pump was analyzed, and influence of the outlet width and outlet incidence of the leaf blade on the performance of the pump were discussed.Second,full flow of the submersible pump created by combining 80 impeller and 125 impeller respectively with 125 fluid directors was three-dimensional modeled by Pro/ENGINEER and divided into grid by Gambit.Third,simulation and performance prediction of pumpâ… and pumpâ…¡were conducted by Fluent.Compared with the experimental results,velocity field and pressure field of the fluid director under the design condition were analyzed,which verified the method of using CFD simulation technology to predict the performance of submersible pump is completely feasible.Forth,in the case of the same 125 diffuser coupling and the constant ratio of area,two kind of impeller were chosen to predict the performance.The conclusions have been drawn as: another high efficiency pump can be obtained on basis of the constant ratio of area.At the same time,the two highest efficient point obtained by analytical method and experiment are overlap with small errors.It indicates that the equations this paper deduced are correct,and the prediction theory and calculation method of the optimum condition have practical value.Using CFD simulation technology to research the performance of impeller and the function of pump is favorable to better understand interior flow pattern and judge whether the design parameters are reasonable or not.At the same time,it can shorten the research time, decreases costs and have great scientific research and economic significance. |
