The submersible pump is a kind of universally applied machinery. It has large amount and is wide in variety, which bring it broad application prospects. But now the efficiency of pump in the market is not high enough, so it still has a lot of space of ascension. The research of mutual matching of impeller and fluid director has certain application value in design and production, which can not only improve design parameters by the results of simulation, but also can produce different submersible pumps with different function through the combination between same fluid director and different impeller. It can meet the market demand, and have greater economic and scientific significance.This topic to dived the water pump to carry on the hydraulic loss computation, and to dived the water pump entire flow channel using the CFD numerical simulation technology to carry on the numerical simulation and the performance prediction. The main contents are as follows:First, derived diffuser and impeller characteristics equation of the diffuser and the impeller geometric parameters on the performance of submersible pumps, discussed the impeller outlet width of the submersible pump performanceSecond, the analysis of the pump energy loss form, and gives the formula for calculating various types of losses and, based on the design of the pump, to estimate the specific value.Third, the use of Pro/ENGINEER 3D modeling software on the impeller 80, impeller 125, and 125 were combination of submersible pump diffuser flow channel to flow the whole three-dimensional modeling, and meshing with the Gambit software.Fourth, the Fluent software, submersible pumps, submersible pumpâ… and pumpâ…¡was simulated and the performance prediction, analysis of the internal diffuser design conditions of velocity, pressure field.Fifth, by calculating the value compared with the experimental results, given that the hydraulic losses this formula can accurately estimate the hydraulic losses.Finally, the calculated values, simulated values and experimental values of contrast, that in this article were made by two kinds of impeller to the diffuser with a kind of two combinations, can get higher efficiency of the pump, so you can save R & D time and reduce costs.
