With the development of society, the energy consumption is ever-increasing. At the same time, the issue of environmental pollution is becoming more and more serious. This situation arouses the people to pay attention to the exploitation and the utilization of renewable energy source. Because of the prominent advantages, the wind energy becomes the important new energy of the world's universal attention. The wind power generation technology also becomes the hot spot. Various countries' scholars compete to study each other about this subject. As a type of new motor, the brushless doubly fed machine (BDFM) whose carbon brush and the link are cancelled has independently active and reactive power adjustment ability. Therefore, it is especially suitable for variable speed constant frequency (VSCF) wind power generation system. The control technology research of BDFM will have important theoretical significance and practical value for its promotion and application in wind field.This paper takes the mouse cage structure BDFM as the object of study and devotes in the research VSCF wind power generation technology. Through the comprehensive analysis of its structure and its working principle, the stable state equivalent circuit, the voltage equation and the network mathematical model have been established and mathematical model based on the rotor speed coordinate has also been inferred. For the motor's typical running status, using the obtained mathematical model MATLAB/SIMULINK has been used to conduct the computer simulation research. The simulation results have confirmed the mathematical model's accuracy and some beneficial conclusions have been obtained.Based on the rotor speed d-q mathematical model, synchronized coordinate system mathematical model have been inferred and the rotor flux linkage direction detection vector control strategy has been established. One kind of vector decoupling control system has been introduced with emphasis and it realizes the speed regulation. At the same time, the vector power decoupling control system applied to the fuzzy control technology has also been established. It realizes the active power and the reactive power independent control. The computer simulation results have indicated that the control effects are good.The research in this paper has good practical significance for modeling, controlling and has established a foundation for the practical application of BDFM.
