| The paper is from the actual production application of cascade speed control system. According to the basic principle of the system, a simulation model is built by using the Simulink of MATLAB and PSB (Power System Blockset). Aiming at the harmonic of the system, we carry on the detailed theoretical analysis and experimental research. To make sure the main sectors of harmonic generation, the harmonic condition and characteristic is analyzed through the experiments and theory. The passive filter's theory and filtering influence are analyzed. It realized the engineering method parameter design and simulation test by minimal capacitor installed capacity method and reactive power allocating method according to the system, and the results are compared on the aspects as the filtering effect and reactive power compensation.
