With the enlargement of the wind farm scale, the effects of wind power integration on system become more and more serious. Therefore, research on the impact of large scale wind farm integration on power system becomes an important issue to design and develop the wind power system. This paper is based on constant speed constant frequency wind power system, does some research on the problems brought by wind farm grid-connected aimed at actual situation on site by using PSCAD. Firstly, the paper builds the dynamic model of wind power system, which establishes the theoretical foundation for succeeding study. Secondly, the paper puts up wind power system simulation model, simulates and analyzes the grid-connected operation of wind power system by PSCAD, which verifies the effectiveness and accuracy of the model. Finally, based on actual wind farm, the paper simulates and analyzes the power quality and voltage stability of Cheng De power grid with wind farm interconnected, also proposes measures to improve stability of power grid.
