Dynamic performance of motor vehicles are a very vital performance parameters of motor vehicles,and directly related to people's lives and property safety,environmental protection,energy use,and many other questions.Accurate test data can not only reflect the true performance of the vehicle,but also play a very important role in using cars,monitoring the quality of repair.With the rapid development of China's automobile industry and transportation,the technical performance of vehicles becomes more effective,the high-qualified test equipments are getting more prevalent,and the demand for test equipments is growing.At present,there are two methods for test:dynamic performance test bench and road test of the law.Although the bench has been widely used,but because their test results can not directly reflect the actual situation of motor vehicles,those methods need further modification.And the road test method can detect the exact road vehicle dynamic performance.With the rapid development of computer technology,more and more advanced technology applies into the path of the portable dynamic performance test systems have been developed.This paper describes the test method of the dynamic performance,design a set of ARM-based performance testing system for vehicle dynamic test.The system uses advanced embedded hardware and software technology.μC/OS-Ⅱreal-time embedded operating system is transplanted into this system as the software platform,I~2C,USB and LCD driver module are developed.As for hardware aspect, ARM7 microprocessor core,LPC2292,is applied.The expansion devices include LCD liquid crystal display,test data storage,USB interlace and other hardware modules.Timers are used to capture features such as interfaces,front-end acquisition system from ARM's non-contact speed sensor signal and brake signal. Then the data can be displayed on the LCD,which are stored in the data storage unit,in addition,the data can be collected,calculated,or sent to host computer via USB interface.
