Research On Energy Saving Control Method For Truck Mixer

Truck Mixer is a special transportation vehicle, which consists of vehicle chassis and a self-rotating concrete mixing drum. Being a necessary transportation equipment for the urban construction, it is widely used in the field of urban construction and road construction. With the development of energy-saving concept and energy-saving technology of construction machinery and equipment, it is greatly significant to research on energy-saving method of the Truck Mixer.With researching on energy saving control method for 8m~3 concrete truck mixer, the thesis introduces the modern technology and developing trend of the equipment in both domestic and foreign areas, analyzes the current energy-saving technology on the vehicles and discusses the working characteristics of the electronic injection diesel engine.On the base of analyzing the various requirements of power and torque of typical working conditions for the machine, this thesis researches on two energy saving methods of "adjusting the engine speed" and "power-variable control". According to the design of those methods, the energy control system is separated into three models: dynamic model, saving model ,and returning saving model. This thesis exploits the power graders of energy control system, presents realization method of every model, and discusses the influence of results of adjusting the engine speed. For the system of variable power control, the thesis designs three engine curves, in order to make 1-3 gears, 4-6 gears, 7-8 gears work on 1- 3 engine curve respectively and to achieve energy-saving purpose. Based on the two programs above, the thesis uses the EPEC 2023 construction machinery controller and SPN LED to design the vehicle energy-saving control system for 8m3 truck mixer.
