Air-inflated arch which has evolved from ancient tent is a kind of spacial structure which is focused on recently. Its most remarkable character is light weight, small volume, quickly set up, high flexibility, great usable space, and not harmful to the equipments and people in it when it is broken down by over-load, and so on. So, it is the perfect modern martial shelter tent. And it applied widely to the field of civil and aviation.The stability analysis is one of the most important technologies in the Air-inflated arch structure analysis and design, therefore the paper is mainly studied on the stability of the Air-inflated arch.Firstly, the paper study the material and the structure of the air-inflated arch by test. Synchronously, The paper introduce the theory and method about analysis of stability function of the air-inflated arch entirely, and also analyses the stability function of the air-inflated arch by tracking and analyzing the load-displacement complete process of the structure by non-linear F.E.M. Then, the paper research on the factors which influence the stability of the air-inflated arch, through analyzing variety different diameter of air-inflated arch and air pressure by ANSYS software. And then, the paper and having reached the quantify relation between them by Statistic, analysis and induction. Final, the paper have established a banausic formula about stability function of the air-inflated arch on the base of the large-scale parameter analysis on air-filled arch structure. The formula can be used in the first step of pilot designs.
