With the development of railway transportation, railway electrification as a new mode of transport for decades in a short period have developed rapidly. As a result of fast speed, high traction power and pollution-free characteristics, electric traction has a good prospects in our country. In recent years, China' s newly-built railway have adopted electric traction mostly. The electrification of many old line has been carried out, such as the electrification project of the Chengkun line. At the same time, the problem of the low electrified railway power factor, high harmonic content , negative sequence and so on are exist, which seriously affected the quality of public electricity grid. With the development of society, power quality is taken seriously. While the power is a special product which quality been ensured by both of the power supplier and consumer. Therefore, the network of power quality monitoring system is an inevitable trend.Based on the virtial instrument technology and remote computer technology, we design the information management system for power quality, Through the existing network, monitoring on the status of substations and power quality parameters for online monitoring and remote monitoring are achieved. Power quality monitoring realized true network. Substation Power Quality in the Information Management System for remote monitoring, a total of seven panels is used, the main interface is used to fulfill the function of landing, landing after the jump to the function will automatically select the interface, functions to choose the interface of each functional module is a connect platform, you can quickly switch to the interface we want to reach. Five function modules are read operation, remote monitoring, view the waveform signal, waveform data processing, power quality measurements. Through different interfaces, the whole system of monitoring and information management is achieved.In this paper, we have adoped a virtual instrument graphical programming language LabVIEW. The computer and hardware are organied togther by the software, so the powerful calculation of a computer processing power and the measure and control ability of the measurement equipment is combined, which is prior to the traditional apparatus because of the high accuracy, repeatability and the flexiblity. And in the future, the system upgrade will bring great convenience of users.
