For the desing lever and the load criterions on the low side,and the steel was scarce in the stucture.When the bridges were loaded hevaily,and in heavy traffic for long time,all of the the two-way curved arch bridge had some damages atfer some Period of usage. need as to be assess, maintain or reinforce.The background of this article is the reinforcing and widening project of Zoumagang Bridge and zhajin Bridge (the two-way curved arch bridge)in Jiangxi Province.This article emphasizes to study the 2 kinds of different programs how to reinforce and improve the load the two-way curved arch bridge through changing spandrel structure system;The first , Adversity hyperbolic arch bridge in the old arch rib margin at the bottom of cast-in-place concrete floor makes the main Arch become a closed box, thus transforms the two-way curved arch into the Box-shaped arch , through increasing cross-section of the main Arch area, thus increasing its load Ability ;The second , after removing the Spandrel Arch and the vault of Solid-web and other Spandrel Construction,then strengthening the Spandrel Arch pier ,after setting for the reconstruction of consecutive plate arch construction, in the top pier cap,thereby reduce dead load to adjust the main Arch force, improve the load transverse distribution coefficient, and improve the carrying capacity of the bridge.This article is built on the study of the whole process which test and examine the structure of the bridge, check up and analyze the available bearing value,evaluate the state of bridge, study the reinforcing,improving the load and widening programme,And establish two different types of finite element model by using space for large-scale finite element software MIDAS / CIVIL,After reinforcement of the structure of the force before and after the state of structural analysis and calculation, It Verifies the proposed reinforcement method is feasibility, reliability and rationality,so that it can be spread and applied in practice of reinforcing,improving the load and widening the same type of bridge.
