In the development of electricity market, the power load forecasting has played an increasingly important role in power system planning and power grids operation, and its research methods also seem to be more and more significant.Combining Minhang network planning and basing the relevant power load forecasting theory, this paper encloses how to analyze the region's electricity load growth related factors scientifically, further obtaining the increasing power related quantified impact factors, as well as confirming electricity load forecasting methods in areas. Furthermore, the in-depth research of temperature characteristics of power load, the relationship of load and economic growth, and the relating of the peak load and consultation, has provided useful reference for the future power load forecasting of south regional power network of Shanghai.Research shows that for the region power grid load forecast, as the division of the economic data collection caliber led to quite difficult to adopt top-down approach to forecast and therefore starting from block and the substation load forecasting approach to public consultation and information industry, extended temperature changes in the characteristics of As the basis for load forecasting is a more practical method of forecasting, regional power grid load forecasting work has a certain reference value.
