Along with the development of the scientific technology,the electric device is more complicated. So,it is more important for the capability and the reliability of the connectors in the electric devices.In this text,it aims to the Pogo Type Connector,through the theroy analysis, set up the model by the computer,orthogonal test and statistic analysis,study the contact reliability which is affected by a lot of factors. Combine with the actual conditions of Foxconn,having a experiment for the Pogo connector.At first,in the theroy of electric contact,find the most important factors,such as contact type,raw material,normal force and the plating which effect the contact reliabitliy. And then,choose two type for every factor to do the orthogonal test except the contact type. Before action,the author has maken out a plan of the test,for the contents,method and procedure,set up the 3D model of the connector use the Finite Element Analysis softward(ABAQUS), and solved some problems of the actual product. At last,use the statistic analysis software(MINITAB) to find the best group in the experiment.The conclusion of this study is the best design of Pogo Type Connector in Foxconn. It can be a good sample for the developing of the new product in the future and the improvement of the current product.
