Low-voltage power line carrier communication (PLCC) has the uniqueadvantages of widely distributed lines, easy using, and so on. It has been widelyused in remote meter reading and intelligent buildings and other fields. But, aspower transmission lines, Low-voltage power line channel has complex structure,large signal attenuation, strong interference, and the impedance characteristics,attenuation characteristics and noise characteristics of power line will havedramatic changes when the place and time change. This wicked channelenvironment impacts the data transmission greatly, and it also brings a lot ofdifficult to the PLCC research. Based on the comprehensive analysis of PLCCchannel's characteristics, this thesis will establish a set of integratedexperimental system for low-voltage PLCC with both simulation software andhardware to provide a credible simulating field for the reaserch and test of PLCCproduct.Based on the deep research of the PLCC channel, this thesis proposes themethod simulating the channel of low-voltage power line based on the multi-pathtransmission model. The system can connect different channel simulation unitand the purified power supply freely by the relays controlled by themicroprocessor, to set up typical simulting channel topology. Based on the designidea of virtual instrument, this thesis sets up a software for the automatic test ofthe simulating channel characteristics by using the general testing equipmentssupporting the VISAstandard, and the testing result verifies the efficiency of thechannel simulation.The software for the simulating transmission experiment ofthe carrier communication is also developed, combined with the testingequipments and the specially designed test unit, it achieves the carrier signal'stransmission through the simulating channel provided bythe experimental system,and provides important basis for the development of communication product. Toevaluate the PLCC product's data transmission performance, this thesis proposesthe data transmission test under the extreme channel conditions, and developssoftware to do the BER test of the PLCC product, and provide demonstration forthe users. To achieve the system's network sharing, the remote operating software based TCP/IPprotocol is developed using the Socket technique, it makes the useron the internet can use the system to do transmission experiment of the self-developed carrier signal.According to the suggestions of the system's popularization proposed by theexperts in the project checkup, the thesis also proposes some improvement of thesystem, and introduces the design principles of the control system based on USBand a noise generator based on the chaos sequence.
