Wind power generation has become the quickest increasing frontier in the world field because of its merits such as: green,clean,environmental protection,renewable energy etc. Therefore the wind power generation technology also becomes various countries' scholar to compete and research the hot spot.This article briefs the domestic and foreign present situation and development of wind power generation and based on wind power generation technical aspect and tendency, variable speed constant frequency wind-power system has been studied based on the multi-permanent magnetism synchronous generator (multi-PMSG), for the question of tracking wind turbine maximum power. Namely multi-permanent magnetism synchronization generation couples with wind turbine directly, and introduces solid-state relay (SSR) cut-in control undisturbed and invert to grid.The theoretical analysis and the experiment simulation results indicate that this wind power generation system has achieved to track maximum power and effectively improved the pitch-controlled system which complex struct and difficult to maintain, slow to respond, and low use factor.This paper elaborates on the variable speed constant frequency wind power system research based on the multi-permanent magnetism synchronous generator (multi-PMSG) in detail through the following several parts.First, the principle of work of wind turbine and the development of control technology are summarized, and the main issues in this study are raised. This paper analyzes the principle of tracking maximum wind-energy when wind generator set runs based on the basic theory of aerodynamics.Second, this paper raises a new generator structure which is composed of the multi-permanent magnetism synchronous machine and elaborates on the principle of work, and researches on the control system of new electrical machinery including the control principle, the design of pitch-controlled system,pitch-controlled system setting and undisturbed switching, and confirms the superiority of the new generator structure by analog simulation experiment.At last, the core controller of permanent magnet synchronous motor variable speed constant frequency wind power generation system is studied thoroughly, namely inverter. The voltage and current which are output by inverter are based on the maximum power curve. In order to achieve maximum energy capture, suppress the voltage fluctuation, and reduce the harmonic currents injected into power grid, voltage and current that are output by inverter are adjusted and the ideal voltage and current curves are tracked.
