Storage time of corrugated boxes stacked in a storehouse is very important because the product packed inside the boxes can be damaged either from the boxes collapsing or form contact between the product packaged inside the corrugated boxes and the top panel of the boxes due to creep, especially compression sensitive products such as glasses, chinaware, light bulbs and also. Based on this consideration, the creep model of corrugated box was developed in this paper, and the reliability of the model was verified by a series of tests. And using the Mckee formula served as a bridge, the relation of creep time (that is the lasting time of corrugated board and box in the process of creep before bruising) between corrugated board and box was established. At last, interrupted creep experiment was used to research the effect on the edgewise compression strength of corrugated board and the compressive strength of corrugated box after creep.Strength of A flute corrugated board and single wall box 0201 with three different sizes have been studied by compression test. The result shows that the compressive strength of three types of corrugated box selected can be predicted by edgewise compression strength of corrugated board using Mckee formula, which was 50.8×50.8 mm and wax dipped.This paper analyzes the feature of creep curves of two elements model, three elements models and four elements model by using viscoelastic theory, which was got by different combination of spring and damper, and then combines the creep experimental curves of corrugated board and box to determine the creep model of corrugated board and box that is three elements model (one).By using Mckee formula and creep model of corrugated board and box, linear relationship of creep time between corrugated board and box is obtained. It can give great help to find the general rule of creep time between corrugated board and box.Interrupted creep experiment, which was used in creep experiment of metal, is introduced into the creep test of paper product. Studying the influence of creep on the edgewise compression strength of corrugated board and the compressive strength of corrugated box by conducting interrupted creep experiment, the results show that the strength of corrugated board and box increase majority after the creep test, and with the relative creep time increase the strength increase and then decrease, the maximum of strength of all the test sample appears at the time that the relative creep time is 0.5.
