For current water cellar, there are a number of shortcomings, such as small volume, the structural form not flexible, easily destruction, lack of efficient computation basis for determined inner outline in symmetry plane during its construction. Aiming at these problems, this paper designs a new curved wall lining Water Cellar with concrete, through literature referencing, field survey, theoretical analysis and structural calculation. The Water Cellar may overcome the shortcoming of the traditional Water Cellar. The model proposed in the paper provide a reliable basis for the future rainwater collection engineering construction, and is helpful gathers the facility design calculation in the large-scale rain water collection to step onto the standardization, the industrial production path.In this paper, according to bearing loads, surrounding environment and using way applying conditions, its inner outline in symmetry plane is three-centered circular arch shaped from stress field and provide a method which determines its inner outline in symmetry plane according to rainfall collection. In the designing process, firstly, each control point, by which the inner outline controlling equation is established so as to define the inner line shape using the Dichotomy and obtain the concrete parameter of inner outline in symmetry plane is determined; then on the basis of elastic-plastic theory and employing the isoperimetric element with eight-node, setting contact element between lining and surrounding soil, the finite element analysis of axisymmetric of water cellar is conducted by software ANSYS10.0. Finally,displacement and stress distribution of the lining are presented.From the point of view of economic, ecology and society has carried on the benefit appraisal to the constructions of Water Cellar. The conclusion shows that the new large volume Water Cellar's engineering construction can bring certain economic benefits, significant ecological and social benefit.
