With the great development of mountain expressway and elevated road, the curved continuous rigid frame bridge has been growing up rapidly in recent years with its unique predominance of compatibility and comfortable. When designing this kind of bridge, the signal thin-walled pier and signal double-walled pier are usually used. Now most of researches concentrate on the spatial mechanic characteristic of curved continuous rigid frame .But it is seldom analyzed for high piers, especially for box girder with this kind of pier.Based on Bai Jianhe Bridge, by using the great spatial analysis software, ANSYS, the spatial mechanic characteristic of long span and high pier prestressed concrete curved rigid frame bridge in both post-construction and construction with the signal thin-walled pier and signal double-walled pier are researched.First, by selecting the different curve radius and kind of pier and building artificial model with the finite element of spatial shell, the influences of curve radius and kind of high pier on the spatial mechanic characteristic of curved rigid frame bridge in phase of completed construction is analyzed.Second, by selecting different kinds of pier and building artificial model again, stability of pier is researched in post-construction phase. The influences of different kinds of high pier and curve radius on stability in post-construction phase are analyzed.It is very actual meaning that the study of the influences kinds of high pier on the curved continuous rigid frame. Some proposals on design and construction for the choice the pier are offered in this paper.
