The Function On The Urban Space Structure Of TOD Tactics

The urbanization of our country is fast growing, it is exactly the important period which forms the rational urban structure, and also is a sensitive period adjusted by the structure of city traffic. During this period, we need to devote more efforts to adjusting the structure of city traffic, adopt effective measures to give priority to the development of public transport, especially the development of large-capacity, fast, highly efficient urban rail transport system. This is a fundamental measure of making full use of limited urban land and traffic resources to solve urban congestion and improve the urban spatial structure.By studying the interaction between the city spatial structure and the transportation systems, it is argued the importance of reasonable transportation mode to the city spatial structure layout. It has proposed the thought that big cities of our country should utilize public transport to guide the development of urban space (TOD) for the city space layout. According to the situation of city spatial structure and traffic in China, it is indicated that metropolis in China should choose the polycentric development pattern along Radical Axes guided by mass transportation in this paper. Analyzing the function performed by mass transportation from macro, mid-scale and micro view, it is elaborated influencing factors, and put forward some related advice such as laying out the mass transit according to the use of urban land, setting the stations reasonably and improving traffic transfer system. The research approach that this thesis mainly adopts is the combination of qualitative and quantitative analysis, and combine comparative analysis and analysis of real example, to study the TOD guide and influence function on the urban space structure. The innovation of this thesis is to use TOD tactics planning concept, combine the website of rail transportation, network planning with TOD community, leading the urban space structure to the public transport-oriented axial structure of multi-center reasonably, thus reduce the going out amount of the traffic from the origin, solve a great deal of city traffic problems, purpose to achieve sustainable development of the city.Finally combine the master plan embodiment of city of Chongqing, analyze the guide function on the urban space structure of Chongqing of the public traffic system.
