Frame structure with steel reinforced concrete special- shaped column is a new type of structure system which develops quickly in recent years. It gathers the advantage of the steel reinforced concrete structure and the reinforced concrete structure as a whole, resolving problem of protruded of the concrete frame construction room built by adopting rectangle columns and the super-high masonry construction. It takes on the advantage for high bearing capacity,good ductility,the excellent seismic behavior ,beauty and good applicability etc. With the development of the theory of the steel reinforced concrete structure and the comprehensive using in engineering, so it is becoming a most important assignment with the extremely important practical significance regarding the instruction design work that study the various parameters'influence to the steel reinforced concrete special-shaped column and even better coordinating the relationship between the structure's strength, rigidity and ductility.This paper applies material nonlinear and geometry nonlinear finite element method to systematically analyze the overall behaviors of the steel reinforced concrete special- shaped column under cyclic load. The load-bearing condition of the steel reinforced concrete special- shaped column in a variety of situations was really simulated through the calculation and analysis of 13species of 5 series. The major parameters including constant axial compression ratios, angle steel of size, column section of size and steel of strength are studied. The main conclusions are the ductility attenuation becomes slow, as the axial compression ratio for the steel reinforced concrete special-shaped column increases. Then it is considered that the limit of high compression is improved with the steel reinforced concrete special-shaped column, but the mechanical behavior of the steel reinforced concrete special-shaped column deteriorates significantly, while axial compression ratio is more than 0.6, so the structural operating requirements can not be satisfied. But with the increasing of the size of angel, shaped steel ratio, hysteretic ductility attenuation of component, the area of hysteretic loop for cyclic loading, energy dissipation capacity and seismic capacity can all be improved; the steel reinforced concrete special- shaped columns have a greater stiffness for anti- side displacement compared with the common reinforced concrete special-shaped columns ,in other words, its side-displacement is less than the common reinforced concrete special- shaped columns in the same loading; In cyclic reversed horizontal loading the degradation rate for the ductility, stiffness and bearing capacity of steel reinforced concrete special- shaped columns is slow to the common reinforced concrete special-shaped columns .In strict defence area of the anti-earthquake to construct high-rise or big span building with the steel reinforced concrete special- shaped column structure system will be advantageous than the common reinforced concrete special-shaped columns frame structure for resisting the earthquake.The paper analyzes bearing capacity of the steel reinforced concrete special-shaped column under the monotone circle load deeply. It is valuable to modify related codes, and to direct practical engineering design. It is a good foundation for earth-quake resistance of the steel reinforced concrete construction.
