In recent years, many achievements had been made in the study on RCSSC frame. It can be drew from the current research that there are many special advantages of this kind of frame such as less weight-, more usable area as well as some disadvantages such as weaker section > less ductility when compared with common frames. So, it has great engineering significance to increase the axial press capacity and ductility of RCSSC in the same area of the section. In view of the great achievements on the study of steel reinforced concrete, this article studied the performance of SRCSSC through experiments, in which steel bars are added in RCSSC. And the research of this article is list as follows.1. Through experimental study on 8 columns (1 common L-shaped column, 1 common T-shaped column, 3 common L-shaped column added with steel bars, 3 common L-shaped column added with steel bars) of axial press capacity, it can be concluded that the axial press capacity of the columns are increased in a large degree.2. Through experimental study on 8 columns (1 common L-shaped column, 1 common T-shaped column, 3 common L-shaped column added with steel bars, 3 common L-shaped column added with steel bars) when suffered periodic horizontal load, it can be concluded that the hysteretic loops of the SRCSSC are full and the hysteretic behaviors are improved and that the ductility and the capacity of energy dissipation are enhanced when steel bars are added in.3. Through experimental study on 2 columns (1 common L-shaped column added with steel bars, 1 common L-shaped column added with steel bars) under shear-compression action, it can be concluded that deformation capacity of later stage is excellent.
