Along with the leap-forward development of China's railway, the high-speed passenger dedicated line, which operates in high speed and density, requests highly reliability and availability on the train control system. China Train Control System class 3 (CTCS-3) is the new generation standard of the train control system in China, which will be applied in many high-speed passenger dedicated line, therefore it is particularly important in simulation and testing. Among the train control system, On-Board Equipment is difficult to completely analyzed owning to the amount of controlled object and the complexity of logical structure. It causes inconvenience on the simulation, testing and verification at the same time. Due to this question, in this paper, we focus on the research of an efficient modeling analysis method, which can be used to describe the system model of the On-Board Equipment of CTCS-3 Train Operation Control System completely. Furthermore, the Simulation and testing method has also been designed based on the system model in this paper.Firstly, with analyzing and comparing based on the system features of the On-Board Equipment of CTCS-3, Unified Modeling Language (UML) has been adopted to model the On-Board Equipment because of its advantage: well-defined, easy to express and describing directly. The modeling analysis descripts the system characteristics from three sections: system requirement, static structure and dynamic behavior.Secondly, an On-Board Equipment simulation and testing platform, which meet the demand of operation simulation, verification and validation, failure analysis of CTCS-3 Train Operation Control System, has been designed and realized based on UML system analysis model.Finally, a method on designing the test case and test sequence of On-Board Equipment of CTCS-3 Train Operation Control System has been expounded base on UML system analysis model.The research achievements of this paper will be used on the simulation and testing of the actual high-speed passenger dedicated line.
