At present, in the field of Dynamic Simulation of railway vehicles, the wheel set are basically regarded as rigid bodies both at home and abroad, which is appropriate when vehicles are in low-speed, but with the continuous improvement in operating speed of EMU, the impact, elastic vibration of the wheels to the system dynamic vibration characteristics, should not be ignored. In this paper, basing on Dynamics and structural strength research achievements in related fields, a study method combining Multi-body dynamics and finite element analysis was given to the research of the Wheel vibration performance and the structural strength analysis of axles of CRH2-300.This paper mainly includes the actual test on Beijing-Tianjin inter-city high-speed railway and simulation.1,Process the measured vertical acceleration and the axle bending dynamic stress data of trailer axle box using the Mycode data processing software and HP VEE statistical program. The results really reflect the wheel set vibration characteristics and structural strength. What's more, it can provide the basis for inspecting correctness of the trailer vehicle dynamic model and finite element model of axle.2,Build and simulate the trailer vehicle dynamic model and finite element model of wheel set using ANSYS and SIMPACK. Its results can comprehensive reflect the trailer wheel set vibration characteristics and stress distribution. At last, the paper discussed the wheel set dynamic characteristics using the harmonic response calculation further.In short, this paper combine measured results and simulation results, more comprehensively analysis the vibration characteristics of trailer axle, and investigate the frequency response characteristics and the analysis method of structural strength of wheel set. In this paper, simulation ideas can be more accurate to forecast the vibration and structural strength characteristics at early product development.
