Coal gangue is one of the most serious solid pollutants. By far, There are more than 2,000 Coal gangue mountain, But also in increasing, Accumulation of the large number of coal gangue give great impact to the local production and life.So, Comprehensive utilization of coal gangue and improve the local environment is an urgent requirement of the mining area people. Practice has proved that, Coal gangue material filling Embankment Gangue is one of the most effective ways to use coal gangue.However, In the existing highway projects, Application of coal gangue is mostly rely on the accumulation of experience more than others in the construction,Lack of system research on the characteristics of the coal gangue materials and road performance. In this paper,Based on fully investigate of the application and the research of these coal gangue in highway at home and abroad, combined with the construction QingLan highway, Do a more in-depth and system study on the application of the coal gangue material in highway projects. In this paper mainly include the followings:Researth of coal Gangue material's physical and chemical characteristics; Experimental Study on the performance of coal Gangue's embankment; Comparison of three methods of compaction effects on coal Gangue's embankment; With finite element software,analysis gangue embankment's post-construction settlement;Do Researches of quality control methods of gangue's embankment construction, Attentions to construction matters, Quality acceptance criteria,and so on.
