Coal Gangue In Highway Roadbed Engineering Application

Coal gangue is a kind of solid rock and a supplementary product along with the exploitation of coal.Excessive coal gangue not only occupied lots of farmland but also seriously polluted environment.Therefore,the problem has been paid attention to how to make a comprehensive use of coal gangue.Based on the engineering of east section of Wu chang—Huadian expressway,using the method of indoor-experiment and fieldwork,the engineering character of coal gangue in ShuLan area,thefeasibility of regarding coal gangue as a kind of filling material and the systemic procedure of conducting craft smanship are studied.The research provides scientific basis for applying coal gangue used in expressway construction.Such conclusions as follow can be obtained from this thesis:(1) The physical and mechanical behaviors of goal gangue are obtained through indoor-experiments,and then the plan of construction of goal gangue roadbed is put forward initially.(2) The plan of construction is improved by applying it into practical construction experiments and the optimal plan of construction and testing is decided.(3) The modulus of resilience and the CBR reference of coalgangue that is defined through resilience experiment and CBRexperiment is further analyzed the feasibility of goal gangueused in roadbed.(4) Using the shearparameter of goal gangue such as C andΦwhich are obtained from spot shear experiment,the stability ofroadbed is analyzed with the method of round sliding andacorresponding program is writen in FORTRAN language.(5) By comparison coal gangue with adding soilin goal gangueto conduct bank, the changing of thephysical,chemical andengineering character of goal gangueis studied(6)At last the author analyzes benefit of economy about theuse of the coal gangueis ,and brought forward the proposal aboutcomprehensive utilization of coal gangueis.
