As a permanent support structure between subway tunnels, the tunnel lining structure plays a crucial role for the safety of tunnel structure. It is very difficult to replace or renovate the lining structure for steel corrosion after years of operation, as the tunnel lining structure has been fixed after the completion of the structure. Therefore, the research about steel corrosion and durability of the tunnel lining structure between subway tunnel is of great importance.In this paper, stray current, carbonation and chloride ion erosion damage which cause the damage of subway lining structure, are the main influencing factors. As is shown in a lot of project examples, the steel corrosion, among all factors that affect the durability of concrete structure, is the main factor that induces the structural damage and premature failure.Therefore, the analysis of corrosive crack width expansion is very important in determining durability deteriorated degree of structures.Because of different positions, subways are different for the ground environment, construction techniques, the use function and its durability study has special significance. As is known, the three external factors, which are stray current, concrete carbonation and chloride ion erosion, are the main reasons for steel corrosion of subway tunnel lining structure, and stray current is for different ground buildings.This article includes their mechanisms of impact on the steel corrosion, their extents and laws of steel corrosion, and a comparative analysis of the prediction model. The study indicated that Di-Tao Niu model is the nearest to test result. Besides, it makes life prediction for subway tunnel lining structure of No.2 line which is the region from Nanshao Gate to Caochangpo in xi'an city, the results can meet the design life span of 100 years. Based on the above study, the results about the protective measures can be used to guide the design and construction of subway structures.
