With the structural reliability theory and the development of relevant subjects, as well as the deepening reform of design code based on the structural reliability theory, bridge structural system reliability has become an urgent need to be solved. Rely on China Western Communication Construction project- "damage assessment and safety reliability evaluation of concrete beam bridge", and combined with evaluation experiment > a new method of system reliability calculation was put forward based on member reliability. The main research contents in this paper includes:(1)Based on reliability theory and existing reliability analysis model of concrete beam bridge, as well as considering the effect of transverse connection to the overall beam system reliability calculation, transverse connection was assigned into upper bearing structure from force transfer structure, a new method of system reliability calculation was put forward.(2)Base on the method of system reliability calculation, considering the effect of live load and dead load ratio to system reliability calculate, the system reliability should be translated to the product of invalidation coefficient and single beam nominal invalidation probability. Analyzing invalidation coefficient combined with experiment, calculation formula of invalidation coefficient on number of main beam and damage rate of transverse connection was proposed.(3) According to member reliability evaluation standard of Ultimate Limit State, as well as single beam nominal invalidation probability of different grade member was calculated ,the method of using idea structure to calculate reliability index critical value and evaluate structure grade was put forward. Through calculating single beam nominal invalidation probability for different grade highway and invalidation coefficient of transverse connection with no damage , system grade evaluate standard was confirmed. At last, the paper will verify method feasibility of Calculation and evaluation by example.
