| The deformation and stability of the high-filled embankment that its height is more than 20m is the key problem to the researchers on the road. Nowadays, though there are much analysis and deduction on the deformation and settlement of the road embankment from the way of consolidation in and aboard the country, there not found the further research on the deformation and settlement law of the soil mass after the compaction especially the high-filled embankment. The deformation and settlement of the embankment is not only correlated with stress, strain, strength and stability of the roadbed but also with the property and filling velocity of the fill soil, the way and equipment of the compaction.This article is example for the ultrahigh embankment in the east of FengJie reservoir SanXia aiming at the research and discussion for the deformation and stability of the high-filled embankment made of gravel-soil.The first, though collecting the relative data of the road, railway and airport etc, to determine the major disease existed in the high-filled project especially the road filling project, then analysis and summary the reason.The second, basis for the research results of the gravel soil, combining with the actual engineering, then analysis and calculate the high-filled embankment by the way of finite element. Among the numerical simulation of finite element, the high embankment is put on the bedrock straticulatly as load. Thinking of the vehicle load influence on the embankment, the moving load is converting to the static load putting on the filling mass. Though the finite element to calculate the deformation under the different consolidations and analyze their influence on the deformation of the high embankment, draw a conclusion that the deformation and settlement value is obvious lower with the compaction degree higher.The third, as to the manual high embankment slope, to calculate and analyze its stability. The stability analysis of the embankment consists of wholly stability of the embankment and groundsoil and the stability of the embankment and levee body. the stability calculation results show: under the natural condition, the stability coefficients of the wholly stability of the embankment and groundsoil and the stability of the embankment and levee body are preferably; but the water level is up to 175m, the stability coefficients are less and only 1.062, according to the criterion they are not meet the code requirements.At last, basis of the deformation analysis and the calculation results of the stability, together with the author's recognition, much suggestion are protested to this engineering. |
