| With the popularity of automobile and complexity of urban transportation,people are always not familiar with the road and could not get to the destination in time.Vehicle makes people travel easily, but it also resultes in the traffic jam. Car navigation system meets the need of the driver provides a reasonable path to the destination.It also alleviates traffic congestion,so the driver can avoid the crowded roads. In china the research of car navigation system start late, but with the development of China's auto industry, a huge market demand for car navigation system appear, so the research and development of car navigation systems is significant.In this paper I introduce the hardware development of car navigation system based on S3C2440. First I introduce background of the system and research situation at home and abroad, then bring forward a scheme of stable, low-cost vehicle navigation system.The next I introduce car navigation system and hardware platform design. Hardware design is the focus of this article. As the processor and memory clock reach 100MHz, it belong to the scope of high-speed digital design. To ensure the the hardware system works stably and reliably, We need simulation of signal integrity before the PCB design.Before the manufacture of PCB board ,we analysis the timing system of the PCB. In the design of the hardware system I use Mentor's software HyperLinx simulate the signal integrity, use PowerPCB for PCB design.Finaly I extract the timing parameters from the PowerPCB and then made timing analysis in spreadsheet.In the summary, I sum up the experience of system design, point out its limitations and future work. |
