This thesis is a part of the research on Bridge Pile Foundation Design IN DEEP SOFT SOIL by Professor Luo Shuxue.In recent decades, with the development of foundation building, Piles foundation have been used more and more widely, Piles diameter become more and more large, and piles length become more and more long. The use of piles foundation is faced with more and updates problems. How to correctly evaluate the Carrying Capacity and working Behavior of Vertical Piles or Batter Piles, many experts and scholars common concerned about that. But the reality is that the application advanced the theory, at present there is no a more reasonable theory to reflect the the Carrying Capacity and Working Behavior of Batter piles.This thesis has done a exploratory research on the Carrying Capacity and Working Behavior of Batter piles that in deep soft soil, lay the foundation for in-depth study on the the Carrying Capacity and working Behavior of Batter Piles.Following contents are discussed in this paper: According model test of the Bridge Pile Foundation Design IN DEEP SOFT SOIL, and collected extensive related literature, to do comparative analysis for the result of finite element numerical calculation and model test, determine the Carrying Capacity and Working Behavior of Batter Piles that in deep soft soil.By deep studies in this paper, following conclusions are drawn:(1) Vertical load-Vertical displacement Curve Changes basically as the same for the Batter Piles group wiht different angle, can be regarded as a linear approximation; in the same load conditions, pile top displacement decreases when the angle changes form 0 degree to 8 degree, pile top displacement gradually increasing when the angle more than 8 degree. Horizontal load-Horizontal displacement Curve Changes basically as the same for the Batter Piles group with different angle, showing a significant quadratic curve-shaped; in the same load conditions, pile top horizontal displacement decreases when the angle changes form 0 degree to 12 degree.(2) Vertical stiffness of Batter Piles first increase and then decrease when the angle increase, and have a maximum. Piles design angle in 7 degree to 10 degree were more reasonable for the change of stffness and the difficulty of construction.(3) Study shows that the corner pile bear the maximum load and the center pile beat the minimum load in vertical pile foundation; the axial force of the center pile is less, and the moment of corner pile and edge pile is more.
